Jesus never mishandled a single situation when he was harassed; he remained submitted to His Father’s authority throughout his life. Are we, as His followers, submitted to the King and snuggled in close like a beloved child, even while the world rages on around us?

The Lord disciplines us to restore the harmony and intimacy. His will is that we would grow in Christ-like character, and He desires to use every person and incident in our lives toward that purpose. Are these things sometimes painful? Yes. Are they for our good? Yes.

Do you ever feel too worn out to show up for the important people in your life? This is not the case with our heavenly Father. His power and presence have no limits. His love is greater than we can imagine. And His ability to be with every person on the planet, in every moment, is beyond our comprehension.

There is nothing that God has not anticipated or seen coming; nothing He can’t handle. if you’re reading this, God is not finished with you! What new thing does God want to do in this year? It won’t be based on self-effort. Rather, on your faith in what Jesus has accomplished. Greater things are still to come!

How do you express to the Lord your wonder at who He is along with your excitement that He has come and is coming again? This Christmas, spend time renewing your passion by worshipping our Messiah, the Risen Savior, who has known us and loved us from before time began.

Our heavenly Father is a Giver. He provides everything we need. We can count on Him to take care of us because, “He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13b) As His followers, we are called to reflect His giving heart to those around us.

When you picture God looking at you, what expression is on His face? Do you ever wonder if God loves you? Dear Saints, your Father God makes a joyful noise when He looks at you! His face lights up to see you! This is the image Scripture describes for us.
