Good News & Great Joy

The gift of Christmas is the gift of Jesus. A great gift—an amazing gift—is just so overwhelming. You’re just in shock, thinking, “How could this be? I don’t deserve this.”

I love how Luke chapter 1 says, “Greetings, O, favored one.” When you receive a gift you are favored; you are thought well of. You are being given something. We are so favored in receiving Jesus. As a reminder in Luke 1:37, “Nothing is impossible with God.”

Have you received the gift of Jesus? If so, then you know from the inside out there is nothing impossible for our God. If you haven’t received Him, hear His love; receive it as a gift. You don’t earn it; you don’t deserve it. But it’s a gift that’s being offered to us. Let’s receive it and enjoy the impossible, amazing love of Jesus.
